The Cogen Europe Recognition Awards are an annual event held to recognise individuals and organisations for their achievements in Cogeneration within the European Union. There were five award categories in this year’s awards: Policy Development, Market Development, Technology & Innovation, Spain National Award and Young CHP Leader.


2G Energy received the award for Technology & Innovation, a great achievement! 2G received the award for having developed a hydrogen-driven CHP plant solution. The company is sure that Hydrogen (H2) produced by renewable energy will play a vital role in the future and will replace natural gas.

Reducing energy costs & environmental impact at Naracoorte Beef Processing Facility

Evo Energy Technologies are proud to partner with Teys Australia for the biogas cogeneration project at Naracoorte Beef Processing Facility.

Utilising biogas from a covered anaerobic lagoon for fuel in a co-generation plant now significantly reduces Natacoortes Beef Processing Facility energy and carbon emissions.

Evo Energy Technologies (part of the Evo Group) are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Manager with strong knowledge of Biogas Cogeneration to join the Team at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane.

The role will support the General Manager in delivering key projects from initial stages to delivery of concept in line with Client specifications.

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Solid background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with strong knowledge of Biogas Cogeneration
• Good working knowledge of generators and electrical installation
• Strong project management and CAD skills
• Strong people skills – team player, sound communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), relationship builder, agile, problem solver and results oriented

This role offers a variety of diverse Projects in a rapidly developing industry sector. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Some travel to project sites will be required.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar capacity within the industry and will be able to quickly support our multiple and varied Project pipeline.
