- Avus 1500b 1.5MW CHP Unit
- Dual Gas Trains (Biogas & Natural Gas)
Evo Energy Technologies are set to transform a rural Milk Processing Facilities energy dynamics. The imminent 1.5 MW Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Unit installation promises major benefits, including VEEC revenue, reduced utility costs, and a dedicated effort to minimise CO2 emissions. This strategic move hints at a future driven by enhanced sustainability and operational efficiency for customer.
Target of 40% reduction in CO2 emissions
Income generated via VEEC for sustainable operations
Expected 15% decrease in annual expenses
Dual gas trains allows for biogas use when available
Evo Energy Technologies is poised to introduce a transformative energy solution at a rural Australian Milk Processing Facility, aiming to address escalating energy costs and support the national decarbonisation initiative. The proposed installation of a 1.5 MW Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Unit, in collaboration with 2G, is anticipated to bring substantial benefits in the future.
The envisioned outcomes include projected revenue from Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEEC) and an expected 15% reduction in future annual utility bills. Moreover, the project aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 40% and potentially achieve a self-sufficiency rate of up to 94%.
The decision to recommend the CHP unit is based on meticulous data review, which forecasts a favourable integration of the 1.5MW unit and its heat utilisation capabilities. The proposed scheme outlines tangible financial returns from anticipated VEEC rebates and utility bill savings. Strategically aligning the CHP capacity with the site's energy demand curve, the project aims for future high levels of self-sufficiency, reliability, and reduced emissions.
The CHP will soon have biogas available from an onsite digester, paving the way for increased savings and further emissions reduction. The plan emphasises the significance of timely implementation to maximise future VEEC benefits and set the foundation for the customer's transition towards sustainable and efficient energy utilisation.
