Evo Energy Technologies is supplying biogas storage domes and high-temperature heat pumps for Sydney Water’s Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. These technologies will support efficient biogas management and optimise digester performance by maintaining ideal operating temperatures.
As part of Sydney Water’s Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre, Evo Energy Technologies is providing biogas storage domes and high-temperature heat pumps to support wastewater treatment operations.
The Tecon Biogas Tank Mount Double Membrane Domes will be installed on the digesters to store biogas produced during wastewater treatment, ensuring efficient capture and utilisation. This supports energy recovery and emission reduction by safely managing the biogas output.
To maintain optimal digester performance, six EvoHeat Evo Max 135 High-Temperature Hot Water Heat Pumps will be installed. These units will heat the digesters to maintain the required temperature, ensuring that the bacterial cultures responsible for breaking down organic matter remain active and effective.
This project plays a key role in improving biogas management, energy efficiency, and wastewater treatment sustainability at one of Sydney Water’s most advanced facilities.
