Evo Energy Technologies led one of the largest heat pump installations in Australia at Dreamworld: Whitewater World, a prominent water park on the Gold Coast. The project, which included the installation of 19 EvoHeat CS200-GEN2 Commercial Heat Pumps, played a significant role in enhancing the park's energy efficiency. This initiative not only showcased sustainable practices on a large scale but also served as a prime example of commitment to energy efficiency within the theme park world.
Whitewater World, located on the Gold Coast and attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, faced the challenge of heating its extensive array of over 30 slides, water-rides, and pools. Evo Energy Technologies was tasked with designing a solution that not only ensured reliable temperature control but also significantly reduced emissions and energy costs.
The solution involved a comprehensive installation of 19 EvoHeat CS200-GEN2 commercial heat pumps, known for their efficiency and performance. This extensive project took over three months to complete, requiring the expertise of hydraulic engineers, plumbers, electricians, BMS/Controls specialists, civil works contractors, laborers, gas technicians, and design draftsman.
The benefits of this project extended beyond Whitewater World, with improvements also made to the heating systems at Dreamworld's Tiger Island and crocodile pools. The energy-efficient solution provided by Evo Energy Technologies offers up to 3610kW heating capacity, ensuring a significant reduction in operational costs and environmental impact. This upgrade not only enhanced the guest experience but also positioned the park as a leader in sustainable practices, with management and patrons set to enjoy these benefits for many years to come.
